Only orders that execute at once pay a fee on Opinion; limit orders resting on the book usually pay nothing. The taker fee follows a curve that peaks when a market's probability is near 50% and falls toward the edges, up to a maximum of 1%.
Very small curve fees fall back to a $0.25 minimum, and the minimum order is $5. Fees are charged in the settlement asset, such as USDT. Opinion covers on-chain gas for matching and settlement; approvals, split, merge and redeem need a little BNB.
