What is Zora?
Zora is a social network on Base where each creator has a coin and each post can be traded as a content coin. A 1% fee on every swap pays the creator and deepens liquidity.
Posting on Zora creates a content coin automatically, and every creator profile has a creator coin. Anyone can buy or sell them like any token.
The current V4 coins use a Uniswap V4 hook. On each swap it collects the 1% fee, swaps it into a backing currency and distributes rewards.
Instead of paying LPs directly, 20% of fees becomes single-sided liquidity placed outside the current price, so pools grow deeper over time.
A 10-second sniper tax, falling from 99% to 1%, discourages bots from buying a coin the instant it appears.
Good fit for
- Creators building an audience on Base
- Traders who follow creator economies
Not ideal for
- Users who want a plain social app
- Traders seeking deep liquidity

Zora fees
Every Zora coin swap pays a 1% fee, collected by a Uniswap V4 hook. 20% of it is turned into new liquidity positions that deepen the pool, and the rest is paid out as market rewards to the creator and other recipients.
In the first 10 seconds after a coin is created, a sniper tax starts at 99% and falls linearly to the 1% base fee. Base gas is extra.
